Children's: Lantern Walk
Wednesday, October 86:00—7:00 PMSide LawnRochester Public Library65 South Main Street, Rochester, NH, 03867

The Children's Room will be hosting our own lantern walk for families, with the intention of bringing community together in mindful and meaningful way.
The lantern walk is a tradition that celebrates hope, kindness, and the light within us. In many cultures a fall lantern walk traditionally occurs during autumn harvest festivals. These festivals represent the quiet beauty of the coming winter season and remind us to shine our light and share our joy with others during the darker half of the year. October 8th everyone who has made a lantern will meet on the Library lawn at 6:00 PM.
We will then begin our lantern walk around the block and will return to the library for cider and a treat.
Stop by the Children's Room anytime during open ours on 10/6 or 10/7 to decorate your own lantern.
Many at home lantern making ideas can be found online. Upcycled Lantern | Virtually BGCMC
